The Spanish Review of Financial Economics (SRFE) officially ceased publication in 2017, after completing its editorial period with Elsevier.

In recent days, we have detected the existence of an external website that is unlawfully using the journal’s name, visual identity, and related content, publishing alleged issues dated after 2017 and soliciting the submission of academic papers.

AEFIN has no connection whatsoever with that website or with any of the publications appearing on it. Any webpage or domain claiming to continue the activities of the SRFE or to solicit article submissions on its behalf is fraudulent.

The only official and legitimate references to the SRFE are:

We urge authors, researchers, and academic institutions to ignore any requests for submissions coming from unofficial domains or email addresses.

We are taking appropriate measures to report this impersonation and to protect the integrity of the association and the scientific community.
